(ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo.) — A man rescued from the Missouri River after his johnboat was struck by a barge Wednesday has died of his injuries, The Telegraph of Alton, Ill., reported. Officials say the johnboat operator died despite the efforts of crewmembers of the towboat Johanna, who righted the capsized vessel and pulled the victim out of the water.
