(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) — M/V Mississippi, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' largest diesel towboat, docked in Nashville on Wednesday during its low-water inspection trip, The Tennessean reported. The 241-foot, 6,300-hp vessel is flagship to the Mississippi River Commission, which is inspecting Corps projects along the Cumberland River. The towboat departed Memphis on July 29 for a four-week, 1,000-mile voyage.
