(COURTRIGHT, Ontario) — A laker carrying a full load of stone ran aground at the Lafarge Aggregates dock, the Observer newspaper of Sarnia reported. The Cuyahoga needed to be lighted by the tugboat Manitou and a barge before it was towed free. Witnesses said the ship may have backed up too close to a sandbar in the St. Clair River.
