(WAUKEGAN, Ill.) — National Gypsum, which is involved in a lawsuit over the cleanup of Waukegan Harbor, plans to name other harbor users in the case, the Lake County News-Sun newspaper reported. That means lake carriers, tugboat companies and dredge operators likely will become involved. The Coast Guard, Army Corps of Engineers and Waukegan Port Authority also are mentioned. The city’s lawsuit claims that contamination by prop wash is harming the harbor.
