(WASHINGTON) — U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood says he plans to resign from President Obama's cabinet, the Wall Street Journal reported. LaHood said he will step down once a successor is confirmed. LaHood was one of two Republicans in the cabinet during Obama's first term.
