(CINCINNATI) — The Cincinnati Enquirer has published a reprint of an “Encyclopedia of Northern Kentucky” entry for a noted northern Kentucky salvage engineer. John Beatty was one of the Ohio River’s most well known marine salvage experts. He remodeled two steamboats that became local restaurants: Capt. Hook’s and the Mike Fink.
