K-Sea asks for limited liability in fatal duck tour boat collision

(PHILADELPHIA) — K-Sea Transportation has asked for limited liability in lawsuits resulting from the recent collision that killed two occupants of a duck tour boat, television WTXF reported. The company wants the court to set the upper limit of its liability at no more than $1.65 million. Several lawsuits have resulted from the collision involving a sludge barge being pushed by a K-Sea tugboat.
