(BROOKLYN, N.Y.) — A federal judge has ruled against Henry Marine Service Inc. in its lawsuit against the city of New York, the Staten Island Advance newspaper reported. The Staten Island-based tugboat company had asked for $6 million for its alleged role in bringing the wayward Staten Island Ferry under control in the aftermath of an accident that killed 11 people. The judge ruled that the Dorothy J was of some help to the beleaguered ferry, but the assistance was not critical in preventing further damage, and the judge awarded the company only $25,000.
