(HOUSTON) — A federal judge has ordered the seizure of Summer Wind, the cargo ship involved in a collision that caused a 168,000-gallon oil spill in Galveston Bay, The Galveston County Daily News reported. The ship is docked at the Port of Houston, its destination on March 22 when it collided with a fuel barge owned by Kirby Inland Marine. A Coast Guard investigation has yet to determine who was at fault, but a post-collision inspection of Summer Wind found that the vessel had issues with its navigation equipment.
