(WESTBROOK, Maine) — An insurance company based here has filed a federal lawsuit against the owners of the tall ship Bounty, alleging they misrepresented the seaworthiness of the vessel and recklessly sailed it into the path of Hurricane Sandy, The Suffolk Times reported. The ship sank off the coast of North Carolina, killing two people. Acadia Insurance Co. is seeking $5.1 million from the HMS Bounty Organization LLC and Robert Hansen.
