(PORTAGE, Ind.) — Officials from Indiana and Quebec launched a partnership Tuesday to ship more products between their regions by water, NWI.com reported. Quebec's exports to the Midwest have grown by 30 percent in the past five years, and now the province and Indiana are looking to see how they can build on that. An estimated 40 percent of the business from Great Lakes shipping is generated in Indiana and Quebec.
