The following is the text of a news report from The Daily Mail:

(CATSKILL, N.Y.) (March 4) — The long cold snap has vessels working overtime to navigate the Hudson.

The Hanze Goslar found itself stranded in the frozen river, just below the mouth of the Catskill Creek. A small Coast Guard cutter, the Line, came to the rescue. Though dwarfed by the larger vessel, it provided a nudge sufficient to get the ship moving again.

In all, four vessels or barges were lined up waiting for the way to be cleared, which it eventually was, with the Line staying on the scene, just in case.
