(LONDON) — The Nautical Institute is calling on all seafarers and maritime professionals globally to share their experiences of how technology is impacting their daily work at sea and ashore.
The #ListeningToSeafarers survey, part of the STEER Project in collaboration with Lloyd’s Register Foundation, explores the real impact of technology, automation, digitalization and new systems on operational safety, workload, skills, training and well-being.
The survey is short and available in many different languages. The Nautical Institute invites participation from all sectors and all ranks. Your input will help the institute better understand the real needs of seafarers and maritime professionals across the full range of ships, trades and across the world. It aims to use your experiences to ensure future tools, training and guidance are shaped by real operational experience and support a more human-centered approach to technology in the maritime sector.
Take part today and have your voice and experiences heard to make a difference. Click here to access the survey.
