Horizon Lines adds non-stop service between West Coast and Guam

(HAGATNA, Guam) — Horizon Lines next month will begin offering a direct freight service from the U.S. West Coast to Guam, the Pacific Daily News newspaper reported. Because the ship will no longer stop at Hawaii, the new route shaves one day off the sailing time to Guam. The route, which includes service to China, will help expedite freight deliveries to Guam during a major military and infrastructure buildup on the island.
