(LITTLE POND, Nova Scotia) — The bunkering tanker Arca 1 was pulled from a shoal Sunday off the coast of Cape Breton after being aground for a week, CBC News reported. McKeil Marine and the Canadian Coast Guard worked together to remove the vessel during high tide and the ship was towed to Sydney Harbor for repairs. Arca 1's six crewmembers were rescued by a helicopter last Sunday after the ship lost propulsion during stormy weather and grounded near Little Pond. No pollution was reported from the ship, which was carrying 16 tonnes of fuel.
