Grounded oil tanker in Northwest Passage finally floats free

(MONTREAL) — A tanker that was aground for two weeks in the Northwest Passage has been freed, Agence France-Presse reported. The Canadian Coast Guard said the ship was dislodged without breaching any of its cargo holds. Woodward Oil, which owns the ship, had some of the 2.4 million gallons of fuel lightered before the vessel floated free.
