(WASHINGTON, D.C.) — The Great Lakes Seaway Partnership has announced the winners of its first annual photo contest.
To help celebrate Great Lakes shipping and the St. Lawrence Seaway’s 60th navigation season, the Great Lakes Seaway Partnership invited fans to submit their best photos of ships, tugboats and barges across the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Seaway System. The Great Lakes Seaway Partnership received over 250 entries throughout the submission period, which began March 30, 2018 and ended Dec. 31, 2018.
The Great Lakes Seaway Partnership thanks all contest participants and invites them to participate in the second annual photo contest by submitting original photos to greatlakesseaway.org/contest. The contest is now open and will end when the St. Lawrence Seaway closes for the 2019 Great Lakes navigation season. Winners will be announced April 1, 2020.
