Galveston pilots christen new boat in honor of fallen comrade

(GALVESTON, Texas) — The Galveston-Texas City Pilots have christened their newest pilot boat while honoring an employee who died three years ago in a capsizing, the Daily News of Galveston reported. The new pilot boat, called the Galveston, replaces the Gal-Tex, which capsized in 2007, killing George Robert Frazier. The new 70-foot vessel was constructed at Gladding-Hearn Shipbuilding.
