(ANCHORAGE, Alaska) — Coast Guard Sector Anchorage, Alaska, is scheduled to host a telephone conference to share information and solicit comments about proposed gold dredge vessel examinations May 20.
The teleconference is open to the public and will take place from 10 a.m. to noon.
The proposed examinations will allow the Coast Guard to regulate the gold dredge fleet using national commercial vessel standards in Nome, Alaska. Enforcement of the examinations is scheduled begin June 1.
