Fla. towboat captain recounts rescue after his vessel flips

(ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.) — A TowboatUS captain who needed to be rescued when his boat flipped thought we would not be rescued in time, the boating magazine Soundings reported. The captain was towing a grounded pleasure boat when his own vessel flipped toward port. The 60-year-old mariner battled 8-foot seas for 3.5 hours before he was finally found with a body temperature of 85.
