(SUPERIOR, Minn.) — The first saltie of the season arrived late Wednesday in Duluth-Superior Harbor, WDIO.com reported. The 453-foot Diana was scheduled to arrive Wednesday morning, but the heavy ice on Lake Superior prevented that. The ship finally made it under the Aerial Lift Bridge just before midnight.
