(OSLO) — The first non-Russian cargo ship to try sailing from Europe to Asia through the Arctic will begin its voyage tomorrow, Agence France-Presse reported. The Nordic Barents will transport iron ore from northern Norway to China via the Northeast Passage. The Norwegian Shipowners Association said Arctic routes could revolutionize maritime commerce between Europe, Asia, Canada and the United States.
