(BOOTBAY, Maine) — A huge fire destroyed the Washburn & Doughty boatyard on Friday, the Associated Press reported. Gov. John Baldacci said the damage estimate was $30 million. The blaze started near one of the tugboats under construction inside a building; only one vessel was spared.
