(BROWNSVILLE, Texas) — ESCO Marine Inc. is recyling the remnants of U.S. ghost ships, the Brownsville Herald newspaper reported. Salvagers recover items ranging from life vests and fire extinguishers to kitchen gear and nautical antiques. Jacketed steam kettles are even sold for use as backyard cooking cauldrons.
