Dozens of cars topple from tipped barge in British Columbia

(SAANICH, British Columbia) — Overseers issued a stop-work order to a steel recycler after crushed cars continued to fall into the water from a tipped barge Wednesday, Business in Vancouver reported. The barge, owned by Seaspan, started tipping on Aug. 28 and dozens of cars fell into the water. More vehicles toppled as a crane tried to move them to another barge.
