(SEATTLE) — Tideworks Technology Inc., a full-service provider of comprehensive terminal management and planning software solutions, has been selected by Crowley Maritime Corp. to implement its terminal operating system (TOS) solutions at its container terminal network. Crowley will utilize Tideworks’ suite of solutions under a fully-hosted model. The first Crowley facility to deploy Tideworks’ TOS will be its Port Everglades, Fla., terminal, scheduled for go live in early 2016.

The project includes implementation of Tideworks’ Mainsail Vanguard core TOS, Spinnaker Planning Management System, Traffic Control, GateVision gate operating system, and Forecast Web portal. In addition, Tideworks will provide its managed EDI service, known as EDI Porter, so Crowley can seamlessly exchange information with its trading partners and other enterprise systems. The project encompasses a multi-site software hosting agreement for up to six facilities within Crowley’s terminal network. The TOS infrastructure will be hosted and supported at Tideworks’ hardened data center.

As part of its complete solution for Crowley, Tideworks will furnish all associated implementation services, including project management, software configuration and installation, integration services, user training, and go-live assistance. Post go-live, Tideworks will provide its ongoing platinum maintenance and support services, which include 24/7 technical support and regular software upgrades.
