Crewman barely escapes sunken Mississippi River tugboat

(ST. LOUIS) — One crewman barely escaped with his life after a tugboat sank in the Mississippi River, television station KSDK reported. The vessel was caught in an undertow while a construction crew was preparing a plaform. One crewman went down with the boat and was dragged under a barge, but he emerged 150 feet away, coughing up water, and was rescued.
