(INOLA, Okla.) — Officials from the Mississippi River Commission are inspecting the Arkansas River this week from a towboat, the Tulsa World newspaper reported. The Army Corps of Engineers vessel MV Mississippi is carrying the fact-finding mission through several locks. The passengers are inspecting the entire navigation system.
