Cold ironing may be coming to NYC cruise terminal in 2011

(NEW YORK) — Cold ironing may be coming to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal as early as 2011, the New York Times reported. The Carnival company already has agreed to retrofit its vessels, but negotiations are continuing on the issue of lowering electricity rates for the ships.
