Change 1 to CG-MMC Policy Letter 01-21 revises the policy letter to add a method to renew the endorsement by providing evidence of being a qualified instructor of a Basic or Advanced IGF Code Operations course. This change also reduces the seagoing service required to renew an STCW for Basic or Advanced IGF Code Operations.

These policy letters, including these changes, are available on the Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credentialing policy website.
