(ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands) — The U.S. Coast Guard is investigating a claim that a ferry operator was drinking between trips in the Virgin Islands, the St. Thomas Source reported. The person who complained said the ferry boat was Cruz Bay 1, operated by Varlack Ventures, which plies the waters between Cruz Bay, St. John, and Red Hook, St. Thomas. The person also sent photos that allegedly show the captain drinking at a Cruz Bay bar.
