Coast Guard Auxiliary patrol boat runs aground

(LONG BEACH, Calif.) — A Coast Guard Auxiliary patrol boat ran aground in Long Beach Harbor, the Press-Telegram newspaper reported. The 51-foot boat sustained minimal damage. The Coast Guard said it was waiting for high tide, hoping the boat would refloat itself, but a crane could be called in.
