“Since our successful ‘in-person’ event last October, this edition is set to be even more filled with content and conversation – all pointing to why this event is indicative of the importance of this agenda to connect the North American shipping community worldwide through a powerful conference program, complemented by a free-to-attend exhibition,” said Chris Morley, group director, maritime, Informa Markets.

With a focus on a “Decade for Action,” CMA Shipping will address multiple topics which fall into the following streams: bunkering; CLE credit; decarbonization and alternative energy; digitalization; finance; freight markets; integrated logistics; salvage and wreck, and of course, State of the Industry sessions and the popular Commodore Debate.

Another highlight and free to attend is this year’s expo, which features more than 80 exhibitors. The expo hall will showcase leading technology, maritime equipment, fuel and lubricants, safety and sustainability suppliers, ship repair, navigation and communication, software solutions, energy, salvage and emergency response solutions providers, insurers, and maritime recruiters.

Addressing any concerns that the industry may have around attending the event, Morley added: “We want to reassure you that we will remain vigilant, keeping a close eye on local guidelines and working alongside our venue partner in providing and maintaining a clean and safe environment for all attendees.”

As the organizer of the event, Informa Markets has adopted Informa All Secure — 10 key commitments agreed upon in collaboration with association partners, venues, suppliers, contractors and authorities globally. All Secure sets best-practice guidelines that raise the bar on safe, hygienic, productive and high-quality organized event experiences.
