(PLYMOUTH, Mass.) — A class-action lawsuit against Bouchard Transportation resulting from the 2003 Buzzards Bay fuel spill was set to go to trial this week, the Cape Cod Times newspaper reported. Owners of 1,100 properties in Mattapoisett are involved in the lawsuit, claiming damages as a result of the maritime accident. Almost 100,000 gallons of bunker fuel spilled from Bouchard barge No. 120 struck a rocky ledge.
