Chemical tanker loses power after boiler pipe ruptures

(PORT ANGELES, Wash.) — A 500-foot chemical tanker lost power after a boiler pipe ruptured, the Peninsula Daily News newspaper reported. The Ginga Falcon, which had sailed from Vancouver, stalled just north of the Olympic Peninsula. Washington state’s Neah Bay emergency response tug Hunter responded.
