(MORGAN CITY, La.) — Cenac Offshore plans to start a niche cargo service from Morgan City to South and Central America, the Daily Comet newspaper reported. The company plans to start with a single cargo ship and will specialize in shallow-water ports that cannot receive huge ships. The idea is to diversify the company’s operations beyond the offshore petroleum industry.
