CBC show airs audio of sinking ferry's mayday calls

(OTTAWA) — "Still at Sea" is a documentary featuring the story of a passenger, Trina Benedict, who survived the sinking of the ferry Queen of the North while it was en route to Vancouver Island in 2006. Two other passengers were never found and are presumed drowned. CBC Radio recently aired an episode of The Current that includes recordings of mayday calls as the ship went down.
