CapRock Communications Selects Pal Jensen as President of Maritime Division

Oslo, Norway Houston, Texas ­ June 9, 2009 ­ CapRock Communications , a leading provider of global satellite communications, today announced the appointment of Pal Jensen as president of the Maritime Division. Jensen, a telecommunications industry veteran, moves into this role from his former position as the company¹s vice president of Maritime Sales. In his new role, Jensen will oversee all aspects of the Commercial Maritime Division, including sales, solution design, and global service and support. Jensen replaces Tore Hilde who was the former president of Maritime.

In 2006, CapRock formed the Maritime Division in Oslo, Norway, which was followed by the launch of SeaAccess Communications£, its maritime service line dedicated to serving the unique requirements of the commercial maritime market. Prior to joining CapRock as vice president of Maritime Sales, Jensen served as vice president of Norwegian-based Telenor Satellite Services (TSS), leading the maritime business division responsible for sales and operations for always-on VSAT solutions. Preceding his position with TSS, Jensen spent 14 years with IBM in Norway, holding a series of progressive management roles which included vice president of Sales. In his VP role, his areas of responsibilities included telecommunications, networking and business outsourcing. Jensen holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Oslo Business School (Bedriftsokonomisk Institutt, BI).
