(ST. LOUIS) — A bridge worker fell to his death Thursday afternoon when a towboat hit the Eads Bridge, KTVI reported. The victim was sandblasting part of the bridge on scaffolding when the incident occurred. Traffic across the span was temporarily closed in both directions.
