(BURLINGTON, Ontario) — A runaway barge ran aground on the shoreline off Burlington, the Hamilton Spectator newspaper reported. High winds and waves parted the towline with the barge’s tugboat. Another tug abandoned its response to the loose barge due to the bad weather. Heavy equipment is one the way from Montreal and Niagara Falls.
