(SAN FRANCISCO) — A containership arrived at the Port of Oakland with a dead whale stuck to its bow, NBC Bay Area reported. The 30-foot whale was discovered by a tugboat crew while it was assisting the ship near the Golden Gate Bridge. The Coast Guard said it’s the first time they’ve heard of a whale being struck in the nearby waters.
