(BOSTON) — A Boston Harbor pilot boat rescued three tugboat crewmen after their vessel sank early Tuesday morning near Winthrop, the Boston Herald reported. Capt. Joseph F. Maloney Jr. was heading toward Boston on the pilot boat Chelsea when he heard the 50-foot Emily Anne was in distress five miles east of Deer Island. Capt. Doug Richmond and the two other crewmembers were forced to abandon ship, but were wearing flotation devices in the 37-degree water when Maloney's boat arrived on the scene. “It was the right place, the right time,” said Maloney.
