Bollinger's Coast Guard cutter contract extended for another year

(WASHINGTON) — Bollinger Shipyards will build two additional fast-response cutters for the U.S. Coast Guard after receiving a contract extension worth $80 million, HoumaToday.com reported. In 2008, Bollinger won the contract to build 34 of the next-generation cutters through this year. By the end of the extended contract, Bollinger will have delivered 15 of the boats.
