Boat leaks fuel after sinking at its dock on Columbia River

(LONGVIEW, Wash.) — A wooden-hulled work crew boat leaked fuel into the Columbia River on Tuesday after sinking at its dock, the Longview Daily News reported. The U.S. Coast Guard reported a six-mile fuel sheen downriver from where the 75-foot Granby sank. Workers from Cowlitz Clean Sweep and Ballard Diving & Salvage were on the scene to mediate the spill.
