BC Ferries cancels sailings after man goes overboard

(VANCOUVER, British Columbia) — BC Ferries canceled the remaining sailings of Queen of Oak Bay on Monday after a man went overboard at about 1615 hours, The Vancouver Sun reported. The crew stopped the ship and launched a rescue boat, as did the crew of the passing Queen of Cowichan. The man was found unconscious and unresponsive and later died.
