(CANTON, Ky.) — A barge tow struck and damaged construction forms for the new U.S. 68/Kentucky 80 Lake Barkley Bridge on Friday morning, SurfKY News reported. The towboat Tennessee Hunter was pushing 15 empty barges at about 0410 hours when the captain reported wind blew the tow into some of the concrete forms. The captain reported minimal damage to the starboard lead barge.
