(LUDLOW, Ky.) — A barge carrying the steamboat USS Nightmare struck a pier Thursday on the Ohio River, WXIX Fox 19 reported. A Coast Guard spokeswoman said the pier is attached to the railroad bridge that connects Ludlow to Queensgate. The barge was dented but the bridge was not damaged, the Coast Guard said.
