Baker Lyman names Thomas Dantin chief consultant for towing safety management

(METAIRIE, La.) — Baker Lyman has named maritime industry veteran Thomas Dantin as chief consultant for towing vessel safety management systems.

Dantin holds a bachelor of arts degree from Nichols State University and a U.S. Coast Guard 500-ton master of steam or motor vessels on oceans license. He is a certified ISM auditor and is experienced at designing safety management systems for the towing industry. He is a commercial pilot for single-engine land and sea, multi-engine land airplanes, instrument rated and a certified flight instructor. His experience covers shipyard and dry-dock management, fleet and personnel management.
