Authorities strip license from ‘bogus’ ship captain (PHOTO)

(MONTREAL) — British authorities have stripped a ship captain’s license away from him after he allowed his vessel to drift in the Pacific Ocean for six weeks without radioing for help, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported. Two Canadians were also on the SS Columbia voyage that took 84 days instead of 40 days. The UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency said everything about the captain “appears to be bogus.”
