In first, Gunderson launches two barges at once

A rendering shows Mt. Rainier, a refined-products barge built for Tidewater, and Cordova Provider II, a deck cargo barge constructed for Lynden. The vessels were simultaneously launched by Gunderson Marine & Iron in Portland, Ore., in April, marking the first dual-vessel launch in the shipyard’s history.
